Why Do Wet Diamond Blades Need Undercut Protection?
Undercutting is a condition where the steel core supporting the segment wears away
until there is not enough support to keep segments on the blade core (see drawing below).
S-Slant Segment Protection
Low-cost undercut protection for most undercutting situations. S-Slant segments are better
suited for green concrete and will minimize spalling of the fresh concrete. |
