The Principle
Soff-Cut Saws cut a perfect joint immediately after finishing. During the process the skid plate contacts the surface of the concrete adjacent to the blade. A specially designed diamond blade cuts the aggregate at high speed without disturbing the aggregate inside the joint or on the
surface, leaving only a dry powder on each side of the cut that will not stick to the concrete. This patented technology is used earlier than any other method with
absolutely no chipping or spalling of the surface. By cutting the concrete at this critical stage the depth of cut is greatly reduced on thicker slabs or paving applications.
- Beneficial in controlling random cracking by finishing saw cut operations early before major stress occurs
- Eliminates heavy equipment, extra steps and manpower
- User friendly, environmentally safe, low maintenance, produces high quality slabs and pavement
- Electric or gas powered push saws for small to medium concrete applications
- Ideal for residential slabs, parking lots, light commercial jobs
- Patented technology prevents random cracking
| This early method has reduced the penetration depth of cut relative to the thickness of concrete. It has provided new insight into concrete crack control relative to the size of aggregates in the design mix and
timeliness of cut. These depths sufficiently weaken large surface aggregates in the cut joint so final separation and crack
inducement take place as the joint shrinks and opens up, causing maximum interlock to be achieved.

Benefits
Floatation system with truss designed Skid Plate
Provides unequaled concrete crack control "timing" before permanent set and major stress occur. Combines up-cut rotation with anti-ravel skid plate completely eliminating spalling of the joint while cutting concrete.
Dry Cut System
Eliminates excess dust, paste residue, water-wash vacuum, sandblasting, delay of joint sealants or discoloration. Allows cutting in areas where water is not accessible.
Versatile Blade Widths
Choose between 2 blade widths: 1/8" (3mm) straight blade or 1/4" (6mm) T-blade (at permanent set plus or minus). To achieve a "Tool Joint Look" use a decorative beveled blade, also available in 1/8" or 1/4".

Noise Reduction System
Allows most city ordinances to approve use during evening and early morning sawing.
Decibel rating graph is available.

Lightweight
Easily transported. Electric model weighs 25 lbs. and can be transported in it's own case. Gas
powered push saw eliminates electric accessories and weighs only 175 lbs.
